Last week, Senate Democrats led by Majority Leader Winnie Brinks pushed through a reckless budget proposal that creates a $1 billion deficit—and Michigan families are the ones who would pay the price. Their plan would kick 60,000 Michiganders off Medicaid, strip childcare support from 2,500 families, and force future tax hikes to cover the shortfall.
