How desperate are House Democrats getting? They’re attacking Rep. Tom Kuhn over missed votes without giving voters the full story: he missed time for a scheduled surgery.
That context matters. A mailer that attacks his attendance while leaving out the medical reason gives voters a misleading picture of his service. It invites them to draw a conclusion without providing the information they need to evaluate the claim fairly.
If Democrats want to challenge Kuhn’s policies, spending priorities or legislative decisions, they can put those disagreements before voters. An honest debate would give residents a chance to compare the candidates and decide who best represents their interests.
Instead, this attack asks voters to judge Kuhn on an incomplete account. With Election Day approaching, residents deserve straightforward answers about what each candidate will do to lower costs, protect taxpayers and serve their community. We know Rep. Kuhn is a true champion for Michigan, always fighting to deliver long term relief for all families.
