Rep. Karl Bohnak secured 682,000 dollars in state funding to support Baraga County’s ongoing flood recovery efforts after severe flooding damaged local roads and infrastructure.
This is a major win for the Upper Peninsula and for communities that have been working to recover from repeated natural disasters. The funding will help the Baraga County Road Commission continue permanent repairs and address deferred work caused by major flood events.
