Rep. Kathy Schmaltz delivered major wins for her district by securing more than 3.8 million dollars in local project funding through the bipartisan state budget.
These investments will support real needs across Jackson County and surrounding communities, including a mobile mental health unit for Jackson-Hillsdale Community Mental Health, an aircraft maintenance technician training school at Jackson County Airport, expansion of the Michigan Military Heritage Museum, renovation of the memory care wing at the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, and additional support for Jackson College’s Jet’s Village Tiny Homes community.
These are the kinds of local investments that make a real difference. They support mental health, workforce development, veterans history, senior care, student housing, and community stability.
