Speaker Matt Hall is once again standing with President Trump as he fights for a better deal for Michigan taxpayers on the Gordie Howe Bridge.
Hall was an early defender of President Trump’s efforts to take a harder look at the bridge agreement and demand a deal that puts America first. For too long, Michigan taxpayers have been left with questions about costs, delays, toll revenue, and whether the current arrangement truly protects the interests of our state and country.
President Trump understands that big infrastructure deals should work for the American people, not just foreign governments or bureaucrats. Speaker Hall has been making that same case in Michigan.
The Gordie Howe Bridge is too important to accept a bad deal without scrutiny. Speaker Hall is right to back President Trump’s push for fairness, accountability, and a better return for taxpayers. Once again, Hall is asking the hard questions and standing up for Michigan families.
